Bar Capri
If Cibaria Noosa is where you commit to the full Italian experience, Bar Capri – just steps from Main Beach – is where you surrender to the relaxed pace of coastal life. Opening its Hastings Street doors at 6.30am, it doesn’t close until late, tracking the sun’s arc from first coffee to final nightcap.
Breakfast here is a gesture of generosity. There’s a crab omelette folded with Queensland spanner crab and chives, pizzetta built on slow-fermented dough and topped with your choice of bacon and egg or zucchini, stracciatella and mint oil.
By 11am, the tempo shifts. The all-day menu from the Cibaria kitchen arrives with the abundance that makes sharing inevitable: think scallops dressed with lemon oil and finger lime or kingfish crudo with pistachio, lime and crostini. Larger appetites will find satisfaction in gnocchi Bolognese, fritto misto of Royal Red prawns and calamari, or perhaps a wagyu cheeseburger with Cibaria’s tangy sauce.
But Bar Capri excels at the liminal hours: that late afternoon aperitivo when Spritzes arrive bright and citrus-forward, when Martinis are stirred with quiet precision. Sun-soaked, unhurried, designed for lingering – it’s Noosa at its most seductive.
Open 6.30am until late, daily.
