Celebrated restaurateurs Anna and Alessandro Pavoni bring their vibrant Italian hospitality to Hastings Street with Cibaria Noosa, a sun-drenched trattoria at Elysium Noosa. Following the success of sister restaurant Cibaria Manly in Sydney, this 120-seat dining destination channels the easy warmth of a Mediterranean piazza, where exceptional food and lively energy come together.
Led by head chef Lucas Bach – who honed his skills in top kitchens across Italy and Australia, including Tuscany’s Michelin-starred Meo Modo – the menu celebrates coastal Italian traditions, while showcasing Queensland’s premium produce.
The menu unfolds with artisanal salumi from the salumeria, vibrant antipasti including buffalo mozzarella with heirloom tomatoes, handmade pastas, and the signature Risotto di Noosa – featuring Queensland spanner crab and local tomatoes. The bisteccheria honours wood-grilled traditions with dry-aged swordfish and Rangers Valley Black Angus sirloin on the bone – dishes made for sharing and savouring together.
The 60-seat poolside Terrazza provides a tranquil escape for long lunches and balmy evening dining, wrapped in Mitchell & Eades’ sunbleached Mediterranean interiors of terracotta, citrus tones and crystal-blue accents.
